    Our deck was very weather-beaten, and I didn't think it could be restored to look new again. Jalbert Contracting did an amazing job, using top grade products, and the deck looks like new. Everyone who stops by comments on it, and we love how it came out! They also met their proposed schedule, as well as their estimate. And they are easy to get in touch with and very responsive to questions, etc. I would definitely hire them again to do additional work, in fact they are going to be replacing our roof.     Once again Brian and his crew have come through for me. They just finished restoring the outside of our daughter's post and beam cedar sided home. They replaced all rotten or soft wood which was extensive, a great deal of work. Then they power washed, sanded, primed and stained the house. They brought the house back where it can be maintain properly. They also replaced the roof on her garage. They went above and beyond and we are once again we are very satisfied with the work they did, the time frame and the price. Looking to have them do some inside work this winter in our home.     There are many good roofing companies out there, but I can only recommend the one we chose. Brian gave us a quote, showed up on time and met the price given, even though there was some extra work involved. His crew was extremely talented. They worked as a team, nonstop until the job was done. They were careful of the flower beds and cleaned up so well, we hardly knew they were there...except for the beautiful new roof.     Love my new roof. I understand it's hard to replace a roof and work around the landscaping. I had just invested a lot of time and money and redid my landscaping myself so I am very sensitive about all my bushes and plants.. You all tried your best to protect it and keep damage to a minimum.     Excellent from start to finish. Shingles blew off my grandmother's roof in the storm just before Christmas and water was coming inside the house. Jalbert was the first company I called because they are local and I could not have been happier. They went out of their way during the holidays to get new roof on her house with a lifetime guarantee. Brian and his crew worked through the snow, cold, and dark to give my grandmother's house a beautiful new roof she will never have to worry about again.     Jalbert Contracting refinished our deck and did our roof as well. The deck looks like new and we get many compliments on it. The roof also looks great, and they took care of sealing up all of the problem ares that we had with leaks etc. They are very professional and great to work with, stay within their budget, and are very reliable.     I highly recommend Jalbert Roofing. Last spring 2019, we needed a new roof for our camp and when shopping around for roofers we found their prices to very reasonable. We also needed the chimney refaced as well a new gutters, and they were able to do that as well. The team did excellent work and cleaned up very well. The camp looks great and we are very happy.     We hired Jalbert Contracting to prepare and paint our house. In the process they uncovered sme underlying problems in the wall and support structure that another contracytor might have passed by (and painted over). They brought the issues to our attention, proposed a solution and accomplshed repair quickly and effectively, before completing the paint job.     In the 3 years we’ve lived in the Alton we have had both minor and a major projects done (roof and door sill repair and handicapped ramp built, power washing) and Jalbert’s did a great job every time. Brian’s teams are courteous and professional making sure the job is done right.     I've known Brian a long time. He started his thriving business with just a rake.There's many reasons why he has come so far and is so successful. That's because he's extremely intelligent, knows his products and is a very friendly guy. His ambition, passion and stride for perfection of his work are what drives his company. He does whatever it takes to make the customer happy because he truly aims to please. I met Brian a long time ago and became friends with him instantly because he has that friendly, give you the shirt off his back personality. I was in a bad place in my life and had hit rock bottom. Brian was there to pick me up. Brian and his wife Jamie gave me a place to stay. Brian made sure I had work and Jamie made sure we were fed. He taught me not only about the trades but customer interaction as well. He inspired me to start my own business. Most companies would not have been supportive thinking i would be taking food off their table but not Brian. I look up to him as a role model. Everytime I'm in a tough situation i think "what would Brian do" or i give him a call and he gives me advice. I learned so much from him and would not be who I am today without him. He's such a great person that instead of being upset that I was parting ways he offered me support. Brian is there to help me everytime I need it and he will be that way with you as well. If you need something done right you can depend on Brian. While working for Brian there has been many instances where he's done more than the scope of work to help customers out, actually it's like that with every job he does. There has been times where he donated materials and labor to build handicap ramps for veterans that couldn't afford them. If I get calls for jobs that are too large or complex for me I tell them to call Jalbert contracting. I trust Brian and his work so much that I had my mother call him for repairs when I wasn't available to do them myself. Some people envy Brian but he's worked hard and deserves everything he has, like i said he literally started his business with a rake. Once you meet Brian you will instantly feel you can trust him.     Had a tree fall through my porch in the winter and cause significant damage. Jalbert contracting went above and beyond to repair the damage. When my truck broke down on the way up to see the property, Brian’s wife came to me with a gallon of antifreeze on the rd . Now that’s full service to me .Their work is excellent and meticulous detail throughout the rebuild. Highly recommend in this family.     Brian replied immediately when I used the Jalbert Website, and within a few days had reviewed the exterior soffit repairs I needed due to wind damage and gave me a quote that was affordable. Dana and Ty came today and were both professional and paid attention to detail in completing the work. After all the comments you see online about how difficult it is to get a contractor to even respond, and when they do it’s often not a good experience, I was thrilled by Brian and his team.     Recently purchased my 1st home and it needed siding repairs and a serious painting ( 30 years of different colored flaking paint). After trying to contact multiple contractors in the lakes region and being stood up multiple times, Brain responded timely. He reviewed the work and sent an estimate within a couple days of responding. They stayed true to the timeline and budget. Within a few of days of starting the project his crew transformed the exterior of the home. The crew was top notch, friendly, responsive, and organized.     After climbing up and discovering the roof on the back of the house was in rougher shape than I knew (I thought I had a roof leak resulting from an ice dam, turned out I had a leak in a pipe in the ceiling), I gave Brian a call to get an estimate. He was great from start to finish! Not only was the price he gave me very fair and very competitive, he took my situation into consideration and was able to get everything turned around and done in two weeks to the day from initial site visit to pulling out of the yard having finished the roof. From his initial visit to evaluate the project right up until they were pulling out of the yard having completed the roof (in a day no less, which included shoveling and stripping off the original roof), he was in contact and provided regular updates on where things stood. Paperwork, single delivery, weather timeline, etc. He even sent photo updates throughout the day while they were working. I didn't ask him to, he took the time to do it of his own volition to keep me in the loop. There were no surprises at any point, and anything he said would happen, happened when he said it would. After the road postings put the kibosh on getting a dumpster in, he was even willing to eat the added cost of having to use a truck and trailer for disposal, all because he believes his quote is his word, and he holds to it. I knew it cost more, and I knew the price he gave me included him being able to work a deal on the dumpster, so I insisted on paying the difference. I believe in treating people fairly, and it's obvious Brian does as well. Brian and his crew were all professional and courteous every step of the way, they even offered to carry the groceries in for my wife when she parked on the street to leave them space to work around the truck and trailer they were using. Two of the guys on the roof kept playing out "Shave and a haircut, two bits" while laying the new shingles. My wife and daughter thought it was very entertaining. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jalbert Contracting to anyone needing a project done. He'll certainly be my first call whenever I need something done! See more See less

    We called Brian to replace our old roof two years ago and were amazed at how quickly he responded to us compared to other contractors. After a consultation where he went over all of our options, they were able to do the job in only one day within the week. Recently, my seller used him for her roof as well and Brian and his crew went above and beyond the roof replacement. The house needed quite a bit of work to make it look presentable and make the sale go more smoothly. In addition to the roof, they repaired rot on the trim, power washed, replaced the lead on the chimney, repaired broken windows, did some paint touch ups and did the badly needed landscaping. Jalbert Construction was able to take care of all the necessary repair work in just one day, which I know would have taken weeks or months if we had to call separate contractors to address these issues. The work done was top notch and seamless, and Brian kept me up to date on the work being done throughout the day. This made a huge difference in my client’s ability to sell the house at her asking price, with the usual negotiation process after inspection where all of these issue would have come up.     After searching for 3 years for a contractor who would actually show up, to paint and freshen up the house, we found Brian at Jalbert Contracting and are very pleased. Brian and Dana came and inspected. They pointed out areas that should be repaired prior to painting and followed up in a reasonable timely manner with reasonable pricing. The job was started and completed rather quickly despite weather issues. Staining decks and wood trim was offered at a good rate and within the job timeline. Cleanup was done daily.     Wednesday evening after the torrential downpour I heard drip drip drip coming from my bathroom. Investigating the problem I noticed my ceiling had a 12" x 3" water stain. Thursday morning I called Brian. He came out immediately with crew, climbed onto my roof, found the leak and fixed it. While they were up there, he checked other tiles and cleaned out my gutter at no charge. If you want a honest contractor with integrity and great customer service call Jalbert Contracting.
